Accounting Software for Vending
When you first start out in vending, you will maybe only have 10 or 20 machines and a few different candy/toy selections, at this level the accounting side of the business is easily managed and can be done with something as simple a sheet of notebook paper. When your vending business starts having vending machines numbering in the hundreds, the daily tasks get that much harder to manage. For smaller routes you can use a nice Excel program, I’ve seen ones for free in vending chat rooms or you can make one to suit your needs, but my opinion is that a software program such as Vend-Trak is a necessary investment. In any start up business, you will have expenses and it’s amazing to me what people will choose to cut corners on, a profession business requires professional accounting software.
