I’ve been flying to Cyprus on and off for the last 12 months looking for a suitable property to buy. Although Cyprus is quite a small island there are a lot of different locations to look at and consider. I want to be close to one of the major city centres, but certainly not right in the middle of it all.

I recently came across a delightful little village called Agios Theodorus, which is in the Larnaca district and just far enough away. It seems ideal for me, it’s got a coffee shop, a bar and a few local shops, which is all I need, and it’s only 27 km from Larnaca airport. Of course, now it’s just a case of finding the right property and that could take some time.

It is very encouraging to see that there are some villages around that suit my requirements. Buying property in Cyprus isn’t the problem, the whole procedure is fairly straightforward, as with property of buying all over the world it’s all about location, location, location.
