Aprilaire Humidifier Filter
A furnace humidifier is a unit that is designed to increase the humidity levels of an entire house. The industry leader of such a unit is Aprilaire. As a result there are many other brands that would be compatible with an Aprilaire humidifier filter so it is easy to find a filter that would fit. A furnace humidifier works with the heating and cooling system of the house and uses the water system to saturate the filter. Regardless of the size of the humidifier, it is important to change the filter regularly to keep it effective. When changing the filter be sure that it is a perfect fit or the filter will be useless in trapping particles and pollutants in the air. Also, the filter must be free of tears or rips which is why it is always recommended to replace with a new filter rather than cleaning and reusing an old filter.
