One thing to remember when you are remodeling a bathroom is that small changes can make a big difference in a room as small as the bathroom. Dark colors make a small room feel claustrophobic. Using a console or pedestal sink instead of a vanity sink is another way to make the space feel more open and less cramped. Because there is nothing underneath the console sink, the open space can be used for a storage basket and you get double use out of that floor space.
