Motor salvage has come a long way since the days of the long-established “scrappies” in the local industrial estate, most scrap and salvage dealers today will have all the parts from vehicles already exposed and ready for purchase much like the service departments of your local car dealer. In addition to this many scrap car breakers run a mail order service and can provide vehicle parts from phone or internet orders with next day delivery, a big bonus for those with busy schedules.
Some of the major second hand spares dealers will also concentrate in a particular car make or in some cases even a certain model or years, for example some will specialize in Renault spares while others will trade in “German” or “Swedish” Cars stuff.
