Requirements To Use Garage Floor Paint
The easiest way to protect your garage floor is with garage floor paint. It can be any color paint that appeals to you or even a stain as long as it completely seals the concrete. Be sure you use acrylics. Prep work is simple. Clear out your garage and thoroughly clean the floor of all dirt and debris. Get some heavy duty gloves because you’re going to use chemicals to remove excess dirt and gunk. You might want to get some knee pads too. Goggles are also a good idea to prevent chemicals from splashing your eyes and a respirator for the fumes. For the paint you will need rollers and roller pans. Get some fairly wide brushes to cut in at the walls. Finally you need a good primer. Prepare to take a weekend to do the job; one day for painting and one day to let the garage floor coating cure.
