SMall Greenhouses To Grow Food
It seems like everybody is complaining about the high cost of food and trying to stretch the budget to include healthy fare. A great way lower your costs and have nutritious meals is to grow your own food in a greenhouse. This can extend your growing season dramatically and really increase the amount of crop raised on a small area.
Just by adding a small greenhouse in your yard or other small plot of land you can easily grow many pounds of healthy, good for you veggies from early in the spring to late in the fall. Some plants will even grow all year long if you add a heat source to the greenhouse. In fact the difference between a greenhouse and a cold house is the addition of a heat source.
A cold house will extend the growing season some but the ambient temperature must be high enough to support growth.
