Solar Fountain Pumps Work Great Outside
GPM or gallons per minute and GPH or gallons per hour refer to how the water is pushed from the fountain by the pump, whether solar fountain pumps or regular wired pumps. These measurements make up the “pump curve” of your fountain because they vary by height. The pump curve is the different heights water shoots from the fountain, some are higher than others. Just looking at an actual fountain in operation will help you to understand this.
Fountain pumps also set a fountain’s water volume (pressure). Water volume is how fast/heavy or slow/light water leaves the fountain and depends on the size of the pump chosen so treat the decision seriously. Research fountain pumps thoroughly especially if you choose to do this on your own.
