Having acne is an embarrassment no matter what your age is, but most people manage to outgrow it when they finish their teenage years. When your face breaks out in a bad case of acne, it is good to know that there is always something you can do about it. I meet with my dermatologist once every couple of months to try to find a new acne solution. Not all acne solutions work well, but I have been successful with my current acne treatment plan. My dermatologist likes to have me take one form of medicine that keeps my hormones balanced; which prevents hormonal acne. My mom always tells me to wash my face several times with a gel that was also prescribed.
