Cheap Liposuction Prices: Not Here!

What is typically one of the most expensive parts of the body to be treated by a cosmetic surgeon when it comes to liposuction?

You might think it’d be some more obscure, less popular part of the body to have fat removed from, such as a persons back, or the underside of their knees. The answer is actually the reverse. What’s one of the most popular areas to have liposuction treatments performed for? The abs!

And guess what? What’s one of the most expensive places to have liposuction treatments? You guessed it – the abs

Now why is this so?

For two reasons – and they are legitimate ones, too. One, is that fat in the abdominals tends to be more fibrous and so it’s harder to bust up and then suck out with the cannula. The second is that men tend to gravitate towards abdominal liposuction over other treatments, and the body fat on the male body is tougher and harder to remove than on women’s body. This leads to an overall price increase across the board for treatments on the abs.

All this talk about the price has probably got you wondering how much it costs, eh! Well, I won’t keep it a secret any longer. The cost of abdominal liposuction starts at around $4,000 and goes up to about double that. (Source: Liposuction Prices Guide

Told ya it wasn’t cheap!

Liposculpture and Hollywood

Wouldn’t it be a fascinating tell all if you could sit down the doctors in Los Angeles and hear who goes in for surgery and what’s done? I gotta imagine the doctor/patient confidentiality agreements for those people must really get into some serious wording. Imagine how much money could be made by Michael Jackson’s cosmetic surgeon? Los Angeles liposculpture doctors hold all the secrets to the celebrity worlds greatest fears – that their skin is not perfect, that their bodies do get wrinkles, that they also have fat under their chin and under their arms… that they are, in fact, humans like the rest of us. One day I imagine a few doctors will go rogue and publish a few tracts complete with before and after photos, including horribly embarrassing photos of their clients under the knife and unconscious. With the advent of cameras attached to the devices we normally carry in our pocket, it’s only a matter of time before a sneaky nurse, doctor, or medical assistant takes a few shots and sends them to the net. For a celeb, forget skin folds and medical complication – leaked photos is going to be the biggest risk of liposculpture!
