The Rosacea Day Bag Concept

The rosacea day bag concept is simple. And like many things that are kept simple, it’s also useful and effective. The idea behind the rosacea day bag is that people with rosacea will be well adviced to always have on hand a few key items to help protect their skin. In my day bag, I always have SPF 15 sunscreen, blocking UVB/UVA rays. I also keep eye drops on hand so my eyes can stay normal, allowing me to simply apply a few drops if they start to get dry of itchy. I keep a thin scarf with me to use as needed to protect my neck and face from the sun, as well as a collapsible brim hat to wear to block sunlight.

If there are any over the counter treatments or herbal rosacea treatments that have helped me, I keep them in my bag to use as an immediate counter to a flareup.

The idea of the day bag is to be prepared. Many women find all these items can fit in a purse. For men, try keeping a bag like this in the car or in your work space so it’s always on hand.

When you need it, you will be very glad you thought in advance and have the necessary items on hand to get some relief.
