Keys to Trade Show Sucess

One of the most important things to remember while working a trade show is to exhibit positive communication skills.  This can be done in several ways.  First, be sure to appear approachable.  Don’t sit in a trade show booth and work on your computer, talk with another worker, or render yourself unavailable.   Rather, if you are not talking to a prospective client, interact with your display, move around, and even go into the aisle to greet people.  Refrain from eating food in your both if you can, and never be smacking on gun or candy while talking with people.  Second, hone your talking points to a quick elevator pitch that you can use to catch attention of prospective clients quickly.  Be sure to practice this before the show begins.  Your pitch should include the most important aspects of your products and convey the overall essence of your company’ goals.
