Word is spreading quickly on the streets about a new artist named Gucci Man. He is a rapper from the southern state of Atlanta Georgia. He was introduced to the music industry with his hit song “Icy” which came out in the early 2000’s. At the same time that he was emerging and becoming more popular, so was fellow artist named Young Jeezy. They both recorded music together and helped get each other more radio play and promotion. In fact, the two even did shows together for awhile, up until the point that they signed with separate labels.

Even though his real name is Radric Davis, his stage name is Gucci Man. The reason that he chose this particular stage name for himself is because his dad held the same nickname before he passed away. Unfortunately, he was never able to have a father figure for most of his time growing up. Since his father was known on the streets as a hustler and was well known for putting in a lot of work, Radric respected all that his dad accomplished before he left.

Although his dad had a lot of influence on the performing name that was chosen by Radric Davis, there were other reasons that this name was selected. One reason that he wanted to be called “Gucci” was because he wore a lot of Gucci brand clothing. He is the type of artist that likes to talk about the type of clothing that he wears as well as the jewelry that he showcases around his neck. He is an artist that is known for being “icy” because of the fact that he wears a lot of diamonds each time that he performs. Trust Agent. What does this term conjure up in your mind? Do the two words even go together? A lot of people when they hear the word “Agent” they may think of Real Estate Agent or an agent with the government. Neither of these two professions would make me think of the word “Trust”. I’m highly skeptical of both.

The dictionary defines trust as: Reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing; confidence.

The dictionary defines agent as: A person or business authorized to act on another’s behalf.

When the A-List internet “Social Media Guru’s” start calling themselves “Trust Agents” you had better be cautious. These are the ones who tell you that using Social Media can make you a lot of money. I do not believe this to be true.

If you’ve ever heard the expression two great tastes that taste great together you’re probably giving up a little more about your age the me to.  I know I just did and no, I’m not talking about chocolate and peanut butter.  What I’m talking about our Star Wars, and Lego.  With Star Wars first came out, it was a hard to imagine the river have anything to do with the Brand Lego.  But thanks to the evolution of computer games, and George Lucas is brilliant movie merchandising ideas they really do go together well.  Star Wars Lego is a great combination.  So great actually does manage to spawn a number of sequels.  Including Indiana Jones and Lego computer games.  As well as Batman and Lego computer games.  This franchise does a great job of marketing family oriented games that play down the whole violent side of videogames.

The music you choose for your wedding is a very important decision. It’s the difference between your guests enjoying the evening or not.

Christmas is going to be here before we know it. My son started writing his Christmas toy list in July and every day a new television advert helps him to increase his list. But with the current doom and gloom economy how can I be sure that I do not waste my money on gimmicky toys that do not deliver? Well here are three toys that will be ‘hot’ this Christmas because they are well made from a well known brand and offer a depth of play that goes beyond the five minute wonder toys.

When I first started playing guitar (many many years ago), one of the things that really helped me was a blues guitar lesson I had with an old guy who lived down the road.

The great thing about this guy was that he played really simple stuff on the guitar. Nothing too flashy, no complex solos with loads of fast runs, just easy, simple licks that were played with feeling, straight from the heart.

He really knew how to make his guitar speak to you in a way that made you want to listen. He taught me some basic first principles on the guitar, and for that I’ll be eternally grateful because playing the guitar has always been something that picks me up when I feel down.

Silk music group was a popular R&B band from Georgia.
